What is League of Legends?

Two teams of five players are pitted against each other in this game, and each player takes on the role of champion.

There are more than 140 champions available, each with their own strengths, weaknesses and abilities.

After avoiding a series towers, the goal of the game is to destroy your opponent’s Nexus (the building at the center of their base),

The Nexus buildings can be found on opposite sides of the map in the lower-left corner and the upper-right corner.

Each Nexus constantly spawns computer-controlled characters known as minions that automatically advance towards enemy bases and attack enemy champions.

All champions begin each match at level 1. They gradually increase their level throughout the game until they reach level 18.

Champions can level up by earning experience and buying gold in order to purchase items. Experience and gold can be earned by killing units (computer controlled enemies), destroying towers, and killing enemy champions.

As they progress through the levels, players unlock new abilities for their champions and can increase these abilities in many different ways.

The more powerful a champion is, the more damage they can inflict upon enemies and buildings.

A champion who dies is not considered out of the game. They will respawn at their Nexus once a certain time has passed.

Each team’s power increases throughout a match and eventually one team is able to take the lead and push for victory.
